Quick Facts: Location: Portland, OR (Providence St. Vincent & Providence Portland Medical Centers) Start Date: As soon as possible Duration: Permanent placement Shift: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am) Hours/Week: Varies based on shifts Employment: Full-time Licenses/Certifications: Neonatal NP or PA with Neonatal PA fellowship/residency; Oregon or eligible for OR license Experience: Preference for experience with delivery room volume or high-acuity neonates Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay, hospital-based support, working at a renowned Level III NICU, collaborative team environment, ongoing professional development opportunities What You’ll Do: Provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants in Level III NICUs Exercise autonomy in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans Collaborate with medical, nursing, and support staff to deliver family-centered care Attend deliveries and perform all necessary procedures in the NICU and delivery rooms Document patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives Support Maternal Fetal Medicine consultations and OB Hospitalist activities What You Need: Active Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification or Physician Assistant (PA) license with Neonatal PA fellowship/residency training Oregon or multistate license eligibility Experience with high-acuity neonates or delivery room procedures preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment: This position is based at a leading hospital network in Portland, Oregon, known for its Level III NICUs and comprehensive maternal and neonatal services. Providers will be part of a collaborative team supporting high-risk neonatal patients, delivering expert and family-focused care in a busy hospital setting.
