Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 31490 State Rte 20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 5:00pm. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P). Preferred Qualifications 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards In lieu of the above state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Pay $17.75 to $27.69 per hour. PSTs may be eligible for a quarterly incentive bonus program based on performance metrics.
