Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team. This is a night shift position with a 3x12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The nurse will primarily work in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit and may be required to float between units based on staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to general medical and surgical patients aged 18 and older.
Manage patient care in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare providers.
Support patient needs, including post-operative care and management of chronic conditions.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
Experience in charge nursing or leadership is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required.
Strong clinical skills in telemetry and management of complex patient needs.
Ability to float to other units as necessary based on skill set and staffing requirements.

Schedule and Availability

This position requires a commitment to working every other weekend. Candidates may also be required to float between facilities and units as needed. On-call availability is expected during low census periods.

Facility Information

This role is available in multiple locations including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, and Seaside, OR.

Additional Information

All staff members are provided with appropriate scrubs.
Parking is free for all staff members.
Orientation hours will be provided prior to the start of your assignment.
Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby.
