The Company is in search of a Vice President & General Counsel for its North American business unit. The successful candidate will be a strategic and business-oriented legal executive, serving as the principal legal advisor for the company's North American operations. This role involves close partnership with executive leadership to support business growth, manage risk, and ensure compliance in a complex transportation technology environment. Key responsibilities include providing counsel on a wide range of legal matters, from commercial transactions to regulatory compliance, and leading dispute resolution and litigation activities. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school, a minimum of 15 years' legal experience, and a strong background in commercial and government contracts, particularly in the public sector. Applicants for the Vice President & General Counsel position at the company's North American business unit should possess a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, be an active member in good standing with a U.S. state bar, and have the ability to register as in-house counsel in California if required. The role demands a professional with a minimum of 15 years' legal experience, including a significant focus on complex commercial organizations, and extensive experience in negotiating, drafting, and managing sophisticated commercial and government contracts. A strong background in public procurement, government contracting, and regulatory compliance is essential, as is experience in advising executive leadership on strategic business and operational decisions.
