Requires at least two (2) years of experience conducting investigations in the fields of civil rightsand employment discrimination.Preferred QualificationsPrefers at least two (2) years of experience working as a Human Rights Investigator III or four (4) years’ experience working as a Human Rights Investigator II with the Illinois Department of Human Rights or in a similar title and/or agency.Prefers at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a business or government organization.Prefers at least two (2) years of experience conducting investigations in the fields of civil rights and employment discrimination.Prefers at least two (2) years of experience managing office practices, procedures, and programs.Prefers at least two (2) years of experience with Microsoft office suite, Adobe, electronic case management programs or similar software systems.Conditions of EmploymentRequires the ability to pass a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.Requires the ability to travel occasionally with the possibility of overnight stays.The conditions of employment listed here are incorporated and related to any of the job duties as listed in the job description.About the Illinois Department of Human RightsThe Illinois Department of Human Rights (“IDHR”) is a state agency charged with the enforcement of the Illinois Human Rights Act ("Act").
