Pool Lifeguard Part Time Recreation Boca Raton, FL, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 5107 Salary Range: $20.00 To $20.50 Hourly Summary The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a lifeguard in a beach or pool operation. This individual must be able to achieve or currently hold a CPR certification. This role requires a strong degree of physical activity in an outdoor setting. Candidates must be self-motivated and have the ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure. Essential Functions Job duties include, although are not limited to: Maintains constantsurveillanceofpatronsinthefacility;actsimmediatelyandappropriatelytosecuresafetyofpatronsintheeventofemergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Presentsprofessionalappearanceandattitudeatalltimes,andmaintainsahighstandardofcustomerservice. Performsvariousmaintenancedutiesasdirectedtomaintainacleanandsafefacility. Preparesandmaintainsappropriateactivityreports. Performsmiscellaneousjob-relateddutiesasassigned. Supervise the use of other equipment when allocated to that duty (such as water slides). Skillintheapplicationoflifeguardingsurveillanceandrescuetechniques. KnowledgeofCPRandemergencymedicalprocedures. Abilitytofollowroutineverbalandwritteninstructions. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. Education/Experience Requirements Highschooldiplomarequired Physical Requirements Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
