This position plays a key role in advancing Emerson's values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion while helping employees and the business thrive.In this role, your responsibilities will be:Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, coaching, conduct, and policy interpretation while ensuring fair and consistent practicesInvestigate and resolve workplace concerns by gathering information, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate actionsMaintain a visible presence on the production floor to build relationships, address questions, and support an inclusive and engaged work environmentLead full-cycle recruiting for production and skilled trade roles, including pre-employment processes, while supporting compliance with employment laws and affirmative action goalsPartner with leaders and cross-functional teams, including Environmental Health & Safety, to support communication, safety initiatives, and a positive workplace cultureSupport employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits guidance, engagement initiatives, and the Employee Opinion Survey processMaintain accurate HR records, analyze and report HR metrics, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsYou act fairly despite conflicting demands of stakeholders and build trust through balanced decision-making. You collaborate effectively, earning the support of others while working toward shared goals. You provide direct and actionable feedback with confidence and respect. You carefully consider relevant factors and use sound judgment to make decisions, while adjusting your communication style to connect with diverse audiences and ensure understanding.For this role, you will need:Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field – equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degreeExperience supporting HR functions such as employee relations and engagement, recruiting, training, or safety in a manufacturing or similar environmentWorking knowledge of employment laws and regulationsAbility to use standard business software tools to manage data and communicationStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to build trust and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizationClear and professional communication skills, with the ability to listen and respond effectivelyWillingness and ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%)Legal Authorization to work in the US, sponsorship will not be providedPreferred qualifications that set you apart:Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldBroader experience across multiple HR disciplines or increased depth in employee relations and talent acquisitionFamiliarity with HR information systems such as Oracle or workforce management tools such as KronosExperience using HR data and metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomesAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
