Experience: • 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 3 months of Epic experience is required. Requirements: • This role will require floating to multiple units • COVID vaccination required after submission. Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with the listed patient types and studies required. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Will consider candidates with 2 years of experience with basic vascular scans. Unit Details: - Outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients ranging from children to geriatrics; high volume of ED patients in a very fast-paced department. - Studies include abdomen, renals, pelvic, appendix studies, intussusception, transabdominal, transvaginal, early/limited OB (patients with menorrhagia), outpatient 2nd/3rd trimester scans (anatomy, EFW, AFI, BPP), small parts (scrotal, thyroid), elevated LFTs, gallbladder, vascular (DVTs, upper/lower extremities), and liver lesions. - Uses Change PACS and Philips EPIQ Elite. - No ICU; 3 ultrasound suites and 1 portable stationed in ED. - Average patients/day: 20-40 through the department per day. Shift & Scheduling: - Typically mids Fri-Sun 1300-2330 plus another varied shift, or option for 12s, but may vary based on needs. - Weekend rotation possible depending on confirmed shift. - On-call is rare and only if no one else picks up: 2 shifts/week; if the normal schedule is a weekend shift, there will not be any weekend call; call is from 2300 until following morning with a 30-minute response time.
