This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands-on experience across billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting functions while working alongside a collaborative and experienced finance team. What You'll Do Assist with accounts receivable collections and account follow-up Support customer billing and invoicing activities Process and apply customer payments Support accounts payable and payment processing activities Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies Assist with month-end closing activities and journal entries Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries Partner with Finance team members on special projects and process improvements What We're Looking For Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent 0-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AR, AP, billing, or finance experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting career Why Join Avalon?
