Role Summary ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Wardrobe Attendant at the Oakland Arena and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. The Wardrobe Attendant is primarily responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of employee uniforms. The incumbent is responsible for distribution and collection of uniforms before and after events, mending and repair of uniforms between events, and inventory control of uniforms and equipment. (Non-exempt Part Time at $23.00 per hour). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Quickly and efficiently distribute uniforms and other equipment (flashlights, earplugs, jackets, etc.) to employees. Perform inventory control on all uniforms and equipment. Utilize industrial washers and dryers to launder garments. Alter and mend garments as required. Other duties as assigned by manager or designee. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience High School Diploma or its equivalent. 1-2 years of related work experience. Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive in providing assistance to employees. Fundamental sewing skills. Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with multiple departments. Understanding written and spoken English. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Physical Demands Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Able to conduct repetitive, manual work.
