Details Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am Shifts may be adjusted to meet operational needs, with facility attempting to honor shift preferences Required to work at least every other holiday Requirements Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross) Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with an acceptable score COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical/religious exemptions only Additional Information Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients, including telemetry monitoring Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process First-time travelers may be considered as travel experience is not required American Traveler Job ID P-770643.
