Monitor Technician

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Monitor Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Monitor Technician/Safety Rounder you will:

Serve as a Telemonitor for the Avasys fall reduction program.

Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.

Verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors.

Immediately notify the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.

Alternately capable of providing walking safety rounds of high risk patients to maintain safety.

Qualified candidates will possess:

High School diploma or GED required.

Valid Maryland CNA license required.

Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Proficiency on dysrhythmia required.

One year of Monitor Tech experience required.

Strong communication and organization skills required.

EKG Certification preferred.

Work Schedule:

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week

Typical Daily Schedule: 6:45AM-7:15PM, with weekend requirement

Shift Type: Day

Weekend Requirements: every other weekend rotation

Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range:

$19.64 - $25.65

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
