Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our partner, a leading medical center in Newberg, OR. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to play a vital role in women's health with a consistent, part-time day shift schedule. We are offering a sign-on bonus of $4,000 for eligible candidates.


Position Overview


As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform diagnostic mammography examinations according to physician orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated equipment. Your role is crucial in producing optimal images by applying your knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors and technique. You will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety, taking into account individual needs and providing compassionate care while producing high-quality images.


Qualifications and Certifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited program to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Required Upon Hire:
  
  
  • An Oregon Radiographer License.
  • A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • A National Registered Technologist - Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Required Within 6 Months (180 Days) of Hire:
  
  
  • A National Registered Technologist - Mammography from the ARRT.
