Garden State Veterinary Services in Woodbridge, NJ is excited to announce we are looking for experienced veterinary technicians to work in our Ophthalmology department!

About GSVServices: We are a multispecialty practice with boarded specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, neurology, oncology and critical care. Ophthalmology Technician responsibilities:

• Perform all essential duties of a Veterinary Technician
• Assisting with Ophthalmologic exams
• Obtain and prepare samples for diagnostic testing
• Properly use and maintain medical equipment including the operating room
• Provide professional client communication
• Assist in anesthetic and sedated procedures including ophthalmologic surgery

About you:

• Certified technician preferred, but will consider those with 2 years veterinary experience
• Team oriented
• Motivated self-starter
• Detail oriented
• Sound problem solving abilities
• Ability to communicate with clients and all members of the veterinary team
• Empathetic and kind approach to patient care
• Positive outlook
• Excellent organizational skills

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 7:30am - 6pm

Salary: $23/hr - $35/hr depending on skills, experience, and credentials + overnight shift differentials Benefits:
