Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,439 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is hiring a travel nurse RN for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit position in San Francisco, California. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts) in a travel role. Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU. Provide direct, life‑supporting nursing care and document physician‑directed care. Develop and implement patient care plans, delegating duties as appropriate. Educate and support patient families, and provide ongoing patient‑family communication. Administer medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage lab work. Operate and troubleshoot specialized ICU equipment and electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing. Communicate patient conditions to family members. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing. 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, especially ICU. ACLS and BLS certification; NIH 3‑Year or additional certifications required before assignment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and lift up to 50 pounds safely. Capacity to handle exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases and manage agitated or uncooperative patients.
