This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in communications, journalism, marketing, copywriting, or technical writing who enjoys transforming complex technical information into engaging, customer-focused content. The successful candidate will serve as an industrial storyteller, helping communicate the value NACHI delivers to manufacturers across North America. This role supports all major NACHI divisions, including Robotics, Bearings, Cutting Tools, and Hydraulics . The Technical Writer / Copywriter will regularly collaborate with sales managers, engineers, product managers, customers, and external marketing partners to create compelling content that strengthens the NACHI brand, generates leads, and supports business growth. Technical writing and copywriting are the primary focus of this role. What You'll Do Content Development & Technical Writing Research, write, and edit: Customer success stories Website content Product profiles Email newsletters Interview engineers, sales personnel, and customers to gather technical information and content ideas. Translate complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into clear, engaging content for customers and prospects. Ensure technical accuracy, message consistency, and brand alignment across all content. SEO & Content Marketing Conduct keyword research and content planning. Optimize website and blog content for search visibility. Manage metadata, page descriptions, and SEO best practices. Support lead generation initiatives through organic content strategies. Develop and maintain sales presentations and customer-facing marketing materials. Ensure brand consistency, messaging accuracy, and professional presentation standards. Social Media & Digital Marketing Manage company social media platforms. Develop content calendars and publishing schedules. Coordinate graphics, photography, and video assets. Monitor engagement and support community interaction. Schedule and maintain social media campaigns, email marketing campaigns, and digital promotions. Manage departmental content calendars and publishing schedules. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineers, product managers, sales managers, and marketing team members. Build positive relationships across the organization while supporting company initiatives and objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Public Relations, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, engaging, and customer-focused manner. Strong interpersonal skills and confidence speaking with engineers, sales leaders, and customers. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Experience in technical writing, copywriting, content marketing, journalism, or communications. Experience within manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering, robotics, hydraulics, or other technical industries. Familiarity with SEO best practices. Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, email marketing platforms, and content management systems. Experience conducting customer interviews and developing case studies.
