Commercial Litigation Attorney (30–32 Hours/Week)

BECKHAM PORTELA is a boutique commercial litigation law firm located in Uptown Dallas. We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney who enjoys practicing law, values excellent client service, and is looking for a sustainable, long-term work environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney seeking a true work-life balance without sacrificing the quality or sophistication of their legal practice. Our attorneys work collaboratively on complex commercial litigation matters for sophisticated clients in a collegial, professional atmosphere.

What You'll Do

You will play a significant role in all phases of litigation, including:

• Serving as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Preparing cases for depositions, mediation, arbitration, trial, and other court proceedings.
• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Managing written discovery and taking or defending depositions.
• Appearing at hearings and working closely with clients to develop litigation strategy.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• At least three years of commercial litigation or other relevant litigation experience.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines while working independently.
