Job Overview

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Redding, CA

Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Available Shifts: Days & Nights - Per Diem

Salary Range: $1,050 – $1,190 per shift (base gross); equivalent to $75.00 – $85.00 per hour.

Assignment Duration: 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within the RN scope of practice, while leading and supporting patient and family education, and guiding nursing staff activities in the ICU.
• Take responsibility for the care and outcomes of assigned patients.
• Effectively communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, including hemodynamic data and diagnostic results.
• Respond promptly and accurately to alterations in patient conditions or treatment responses.
• Provide safe, high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

• Possession of a current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certification upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification is mandatory.
• Current ACLS certification upon hire, with ongoing maintenance required.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, specifically in critical care, is essential.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role being $75.00 to $85.00. This estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for other locations. The precise starting salary will be determined at the time of hiring, taking into account various factors such as skill set, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
