Center Manager in Training - Relocation Required

Senior Operations Management Trainee (Senior OMT) At BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., we help improve the lives of patients with rare diseases. You will engage donors, work with a supportive team, and have opportunities for career growth in our fast‑paced environment. Overview As a senior leader you will participate in an advanced leadership development program, traveling up to 95% of the time to learn operations across our plasma centers. After completing the program you will assume a Plasma Center Operations Manager role. Typical Day Continuous Learning & Development : Six‑month expedited training program, followed by 12 months to attain a manager position, with hands‑on experience and mentorship. Team Management : Cultivate a positive environment, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, support development, participate in planning and recruiting, and retain employees. Career Advancement : Complete training, network, and build relationships to qualify for the management role and potential new center openings. Supportive Teamwork : Operate in a fast‑paced team, offer operational support, conduct training, solve problems, and communicate with senior leadership. Customer Service : Create a positive donor experience and may assist with production. Travel Opportunities : Network across the country, return home every other weekend. Required Qualifications Relocation required upon program completion; select preferred location. 3‑5 years of experience leading teams of 20+ direct reports. Up to 90‑100% travel during the trainee program. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 32 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver’s license for duration of program. Proficiency in operating in a high‑volume environment with prolonged glove wear (risk level 1). Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Preferred Qualifications Associates or Bachelor’s degree. Experience with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, and FDA regulations. Experience in a highly regulated or high‑volume retail environment. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, technical, and leadership skills. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $80,000 – $110,000 for U.S. location NC – virtual. Salary depends on qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible for short‑term and long‑term incentives, 401(k) with company match, medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, and well‑being benefits. U.S. employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation and 80 hours sick time annually.
