Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Medical/Surgical experience
• Oncology experience
• Comfortable taking step-down patients
• Prior travel work history (highly preferred)
• Epic EMR experience (highly preferred)
• Active Michigan RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Regularly assess patients' needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the authorized plan of care and accepted nursing practice standards.
• Provide direct patient care, including nursing assessments, medication administration, treatments, and assistance with transfers.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update and revise care plans based on current assessments.
• Process physician orders and perform ordered care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications.
