Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to form the dedicated test‑automation capability within the PRIME RA SI team at BIM / FTSE Russell. The role strengthens PRIME's SI reporting capability, improving the predictability, quality and auditability of SI reporting and reducing reliance on shared capacity. The PRIME core stack is SQL Server, C#.NET, Python and Java, with test automation built on PyTest BDD and Playwright. The candidate must work UK business hours. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements 7+ years as an SDET / test automation engineer Strong test automation with PyTest BDD and Playwright tSQL stored‑procedure regression testing (e.g. tSQLt) Python, with working knowledge of SQL Server (or PostgreSQL), C#.NET and Java Strong data validation and reconciliation testing Strong financial services experience (a defining requirement for this team) Able to work UK business hours AI/ML for anomaly and drift detection and automated test‑case generation — scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyCaret (LSEG's stated direction of travel) Agentic AI tooling (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to automate test‑case creation within the existing Automation Test Framework (ITAF) Performance/non‑functional testing (e.g. JMeter, k6, SQL Profiler) SI / regulatory reporting experience (e.g. MiFID II‑style obligations) Index / data‑platform domain knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
