CT Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiology / CT Technologist to join a growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with radiation safety standards.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Day Shift
• Rotating and Variable Schedule
• Weekend coverage as required

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiology procedures according to physician orders.
• Screen patients for contraindications and ensure appropriate preparation before imaging procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining a low repeat rate.
• Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain CT, X-ray, PACS, and imaging equipment.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly.
• Assist with protocol updates, training, and departmental quality initiatives.
• Support additional clinical functions within scope of practice as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT certification.
• Active state Radiologic Technologist license (where applicable).
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Experience performing CT and diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Knowledge of PACS systems and imaging workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of CT experience.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency, outpatient, or hospital environments.
• Knowledge of teleradiology and advanced imaging protocols.

Additional details:

• Salary range: $34.50 - $44.00/hr depending on experience (shift diffs available as outlined below)

• Sign-on bonus: $15k

• Shift time: 7a–7p

• Full-time is considered (3) 12-hour shifts, and there is the option to pick up additional approved shifts at other locations for overtime

CT Tech Shift Differentials:

• Sunday: $5/hr (12a–7a & 7p–12a), $2/hr (7a–7p)

• Monday–Friday: $2/hr for hours worked 12a–7a and 7p–12a

• Saturday: $5/hr (12a–7a & 7p–12a), $2/hr (7a–7p)
