Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a Maintenance & Manufacturing Tech for our client in Broome County, NY! We are seeking a hardworking, motivated individual for a combined maintenance and manufacturing position. This role is for someone who is reliable and ready to handle everything from equipment upkeep to hands-on production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic operations including drilling, shearing, and deburring.
• Handle routine equipment/machinery maintenance and general facility upkeep (including shop cleaning).
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Responsible for packaging, part marking, inventory tracking, and safe forklift operation.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will provide on-the-job training for specific techniques.
• Solid basic math skills; computer skills are a plus.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of a shop environment.
• Proficient with common hand and power tools.

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
