In this role, you'll be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. - Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques to ensure optimal results.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process, especially in high-anxiety situations.
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely entry of imaging data into the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- ARRT (MR) certification required, or ARRT (R) with eligibility for MRI registry.
- State licensure, if required by location.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with patients of all ages.
- Experience with advanced imaging protocols and contrast media administration is a plus.
