Giddings Independent School District is seeking an inspiring, student-centered, and results-driven educational leader to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Human Resources. Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for curriculum development, instructional programs, assessment, accountability, and professional learning across the district. Coordinate and support district-wide instructional initiatives designed to improve student achievement and educator effectiveness. Oversee the district’s human resources functions, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, certification compliance, and personnel management. Support principals and instructional leaders in implementing effective instructional practices and data-driven decision-making. Monitor district academic performance and ensure compliance with state and federal accountability requirements. Assist in developing and implementing district improvement plans and strategic initiatives. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, professionalism, and continuous improvement throughout the district. Maintain positive communication and strong working relationships with students, staff, parents, community members, and the Board of Trustees. Coordinate staff development programs and leadership growth opportunities for employees at all levels. Ensure district policies, procedures, and practices are implemented with fidelity and consistency.
