Product Designer

The Product Designer role at Auction Technology Group focuses on the seller experience, shaping solutions across the full product lifecycle and maintaining the Hammer UI design system. This position is based in New York State on a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities Contribute to end-to-end design for the seller experience, spanning problem framing, research, delivery, and iteration Conduct user interviews and usability studies, synthesizing findings to understand auction house workflows and seller pain points Produce clear designs in Figma and use AI-assisted prototyping to communicate design intent to product and engineering partners Integrate analytics, research, and experimentation data to inform design decisions and drive measurable impact Contribute to and maintain the Hammer UI design system to ensure consistency and scalability Collaborate with design peers to uphold uniform UI and UX patterns across the seller experience Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to align requirements, feasibility, and success metrics Engage actively in design reviews, sharing work early and incorporating feedback constructively Requirements 2-4 years of product design experience, with meaningful time on B2B tools, seller or operator-facing products, dashboards, or complex workflows Proficiency in Figma and AI-enabled tools to design, iterate, and prototype for effective communication with product and engineering partners Proactive self-starter who initiates collaboration with product partners early and often, drives alignment, and maintains momentum Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Strong systems thinker who emphasizes patterns, reusable components, and scalable solutions over one-off fixes Hands-on experience contributing to or working within a design system Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly as project direction evolvesGreat attention to detail and a strong eye for visual craft, including composition, typography, and layout Collaborative, low-ego mindset with a growth orientation; dedication to learning, experimentation, and team culture Bachelor's degree in design, a related field, or equivalent experience Technologies Figma Hammer UI design system Benefits Annual performance bonus Stock Benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans Description Who are we?
