Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• 1 year of previous experience required
• BLS (AHA) required
• State license required
• Driver's License required
• Work history/resume required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• License verification required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must not have been an employee of the health system in the last 12 months

Assignment Details

• Schedule options include 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekends required
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• EMR: Epic
• Patient population includes deconditioned, post-op, and post-hospitalization cases

Location Highlights

Sioux City, Iowa offers access to riverfront recreation and regional attractions in a practical Midwestern setting. The city sits along the Missouri River and features the Sioux City Riverfront, with trails and parks near downtown for walking, biking, and outdoor breaks. Stone State Park is located on the northwest edge of the city and offers hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic overlooks just a short drive from central Sioux City. The Sergeant Floyd Monument and the Sioux City Public Museum provide local history access, while Interstate 29 connects the area to Omaha in roughly 2 hours and Sioux Falls in about 1.5 hours.
