High-Bay Reach Truck Operator & Inventory Handler

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Reports To: DC Supervisor or Designee

A day in this role

You start your shift by checking your reach truck and counterbalance forklift, syncing your RF scanner, and reviewing the outbound plan. Finished goods are queued at assembly—you pull them, verify counts, and complete the shipment using the proper transactions. A trailer backs into the dock; you load pallets safely and squarely. Next, inbound materials arrive. You receive, inspect, and place them into inventory, recording each move in Epicor to keep inventory precise. Throughout the day, you navigate aisles, move product efficiently, collaborate with department leads, and keep material flowing without bottlenecks—all while following company policies, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.

What you'll handle

• Operate gas or electric reach and counterbalance forklifts; use material handling equipment confidently.
• Retrieve finished goods from assembly and process shipments using correct systems and transactions.
• Receive inbound materials; perform put-away and inventory placement with accuracy.
• Record all material movements in Epicor to maintain inventory integrity.
• Load and unload semi-trailers safely and efficiently.
• Support additional warehouse tasks and related duties as assigned.
• Adhere to organizational policies, rules, and regulations at all times.

Tools & systems you'll use

• Epicor ERP for inventory transactions
• RF scanners and tablets
• Basic hand tools (air drivers, wrenches, etc.)

What you bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months of related warehouse experience, including at least 1 year operating material handling equipment.
• Understanding of accurate inventory transactions and product flow in and out of a warehouse.
• Ability to be trained or previously trained on material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills (data entry and general knowledge); ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfort with RF devices and tablets; familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP systems.
• Strong teamwork and the ability to work independently; sound basic math skills and a solid work ethic.

Physical demands

• Stand and walk for 8+ hours per day; traverse long distances repeatedly.
• Lift packages up to 50 pounds; bend and stoop as needed.
• Climb step stools/small ladders safely.
