Our technicians play a key role in ensuring that we continue providing exceptional customer support nationwide.What You'll Do:Provide Service & Support: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with Preston Refrigeration's guidelines.Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.What Describes You:Highly Skilled Technician: You have experience with equipment installation, repair, and maintenance, and you understand how critical these services are to keeping facilities operational.Hands-On Problem Solver: You excel at diagnosing issues and implementing practical solutions that get the job done.Customer-Focused: You love working directly with customers, ensuring their equipment operates smoothly, and building positive relationships.Flexible & Ready to Travel: Although our goal is to keep you as local as possible, you would be required to travel as required, with overnight stays as needed.Safety-Minded: You never compromise on safety and follow all reporting procedures to the letter.Qualifications:High school diploma or associate degree, or a combination of relevant experience and education.Preferred: CIRO/CARO certifications, experience with industrial refrigeration systems, and knowledge of electrical components.Ability to work well independently with limited supervision.Effective communication skills.Why You Should Apply:If you're looking for a role that allows you to travel, troubleshoot equipment, and make a tangible impact at each job site, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
