Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,782–$1,937 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights (1845–0715). Setting: hospital-based travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients
- Perform nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes
- Administer medications and IV therapies per orders; document in the EMR
- Manage wound care and assist with device care (e.g., wound vac, chest tubes) as trained
- Float to other units as needed while maintaining safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with the care team to support discharge planning and patient education

Requirements
- Hawaii RN license active by start of assignment
- BLS and ACLS required; additional certifications preferred (PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
- 2–10 years of RN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Ability to float to multiple units as needed
- Orientation provided for each unit; must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health clearance
