Respiratory TherapistUnder the direction of the ICU Director, the Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy within the department's scope of care to patients as ordered by the physicians in accordance with established policies and procedures.Education and Experience:Registered by the National Board for Respiratory CareLicensed by the Louisiana Board of Medical ExaminersACLS within one year of employmentNRP within 6 months of employmentBLS requiredMinimum of one year of acute care experience preferredNeonatal experience preferredQualificationsEducationRequiredDiploma or better in Respiratory Therapy.Licenses & CertificationsRequiredACLSBLSRegistered Resp TherapistEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
