Assembly Associate – Automotive ManufacturingLocation: Sterling Heights, MIAvailable Shifts1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMPay: ($15.50 hr - goes to $17.00 after 90 days)Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on production needs.Position SummaryWe are hiring dependable Assembly Associates to support a fast-paced automotive manufacturing operation in Sterling Heights. In this role, you will work as part of a production team assembling automotive bumper systems and components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.This is a hands-on position well suited for individuals who are comfortable working on their feet, using basic tools, and performing repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.ResponsibilitiesAssemble automotive bumper systems and related components according to work instructions and production specificationsInstall bolts, screws, clips, wiring, and other componentsOperate basic hand tools, drills, and other assembly equipmentInspect completed parts for quality, proper fit, and accuracyIdentify and report defects or assembly concernsFollow established production, quality, and safety proceduresMaintain required production pace and efficiencyKeep the workstation clean, organized, and free of safety hazardsWork closely with team members, team leaders, and supervisors to meet daily production goalsPerform other production or assembly duties as assignedQualificationsManufacturing or automotive assembly experience is helpful, but not requiredAbility to follow verbal and written work instructionsComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentDependable attendance and punctualityStrong attention to detailAbility to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to learn different assembly processes and job functions
