We embrace technology, reward performance, and foster a culture where professionals are empowered to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate, detailed cost estimates and takeoffs for electrical construction projectsRead and interpret drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and blueprintsUtilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid) to prepare proposals and bidsManage pricing from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive and complete bid packagesUnderstand project scope and identify risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunitiesCollaborate with project managers and field teams to align estimate strategy and executionTrack awarded project statistics and ensure timely completion of all bidsMaintain and build strong vendor and subcontractor relationshipsAssist in training junior team members or assistants when neededQualifications10+ years of electrical construction or estimating experience requiredAssociate's Degree preferred (or equivalent experience)Strong understanding of NEC, commercial, and industrial electrical systemsProven ability to read and interpret construction plans and electrical one-line diagramsDetail-oriented, highly organized, and driven to win competitive bidsFamiliar with construction sequencing and scheduling logicProficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and estimating software such as AccubidMotivated, team-oriented professional with excellent communication skillsNC Electrical License is a plusValid driver's license requiredExperience with drafting, preparing project manuals, generating quotes, developing bids, and conducting project-related researchStrong office and administrative skillsElectrical estimating experience, including the use of electrical estimating softwareProficiency with Accubid or similar estimating platformsBenefitsMedical and Dental Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Vacation and HolidaysWeekly Pay CyclePaid Training & CertificationsTech Package (Smartphone or Tablet)Company VehicleCompany Events & Annual TripsUniforms ProvidedPer Diem for Travel ProjectsScheduleFull-Time - Monday to FridayBetween the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PMOccasional extended hours may be required based on project deadlinesLocationOn-site role based in Red Springs, NCTravel may be required based on business needsEqual Employment Opportunity StatementWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
