Title
Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU

Schedule
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience required
- Traveler experience required
- Previous Neuro ICU procedures experience required (EVDs, lumbar drains, ICP monitoring, ventilated neuro patients)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), NIH (NIHSS)
- Licensure: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with neurocritical conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-neurosurgery, and aneurysm repair
- Monitor and manage neurological status, including ICP and EVD/LD management
- Administer medications and manage ventilated patients
- Perform and interpret dysrhythmia management, blood product administration, and continuous IV sedation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours (2 day or 2 night format)
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
