Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer

Duration: 12 -24 Months

Location: Merrimack, NH/ Smithfield, RI/ Westlake, TX/ Durham, NC/ Covington, KY

Candidate should be local or willing to work onsite on any of the above locations for 5 days/ month

The Role

As a Sr. Systems Engineer will be analyzing existing work streams and process and looking for opportunities for improvement. This will include CI/CD pipeline development supporting development teams and process automation supporting support staff. Your efforts will help enhance productivity, reduce efforts and improve the overall associate experience!

Will chip in to a diverse eco-system of technologies including: windows and linux environments in on-premised data centers and cloud based infrastructures in AWS and Azure. You will have a passion for learning and bring a collaborative approach to problem solving.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Passionate about working in a DevOps culture
• Proven communication skills, written and oral
• Experience working in globally distributed teams
• Strong desire for learning – exploring – willingness to fail
• Strong linux shell scripting
• Jenkins / JenkinsCore / Groovy Scripting
• Developer comfortable working with Python – extensive knowledge of available libraries – proficient with research
• Experience working with API’s & API frameworks
• Hands on experience working with infrastructure as code (CFT, Terraform etc).
• Understanding of container technologies (Docker)
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (concourse, Jenkins(core), uDeploy).
• Understanding of AWS cloud security and account management
• Experience with log aggregation tools – dashboarding, monitoring and alerting (datadog, splunk)
• Cutover and PageDuty(formerly RunDeck) experience a plus
• UI Development experience also desirable

What are the top must have skills?

Strong with linux/shell and python scripting

Experience working with API’s & API frameworks (consumer of other people APIs).

Hands on experience working with infrastructure as code (CFT, Terraform, JSON, etc).

What are the Nice to have skills?

Understanding of container technologies (Docker)

Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (concourse, Jenkins(core), uDeploy).
