As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $16.71 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access records. Control access for deliveries and outbound shipments, communicate with receiving and shipping personnel, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
