Phlebotomist

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Jackson, TN! This is a 7 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Location: Jackson, TN 38305 Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST | Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM CST Travel Requirement: Must be able to travel to the sister site in Union City every Thursday. Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $19-21/hour (Based on years of experience & education) Key Responsibilities: Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection. Perform pediatric, geriatric, and routine blood collections. Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures. Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens in the patient's presence. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Follow all Quest Diagnostics policies, including HIPAA, safety, quality assurance, and infection control guidelines. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality. Support operations at multiple Patient Service Centers or physician office locations as needed. Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required . Experience with: Pediatric collections Geriatric collections Capillary collections Note: Local candidates within 20-25 miles are eligible. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
