Job Description : Inviting applications for the role of Data Architect If you like being the security mastermind behind national scale, business critical and high visibility projects, then this is the job for you! Your typical day will range from performing security design reviews of critical applications and systems (such as patient record systems, payment systems, IoT devices, APIs, mobile applications, ML/AI systems…you name it!) which has a direct impact on people’s lives to designing complex security capabilities as well as authoring artifacts such as guardrails, design patterns etc. which help scale security capabilities nationally. This is a business critical role where you will gain visibility across the whole organization in this role and would have the opportunity to work with architects, engineers, product owners and executives. Responsibilities: List primary and specific job duties performed daily in order of importance.

• Performs security architecture reviews for large scale, high-impact technology solutions.
• Leads the development of solution architecture, roadmaps, implementation plans for new security capabilities.
• Collaborates with project teams, business teams to explain security risks and mitigation strategies with a focus on enabling the business using a risk-based approach.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to facilitate continuous development and drive changes to security architecture practices.
• Identifies the need, develops, and establishes re-usable and scalable security artifacts such as guardrails, design patterns, reference architectures etc.
• Provides expertise and shares an understanding of current capability gaps and market & industry standards that can be used to set future direction.

Qualification We seek in you!

• Candidates must know about Architecture, with a focus on Security.
• The candidate must know at least two of the following: email security (proof point or similar ), data loss prevention (net scope or similar ), web application firewall, cryptography.
• The 3 Architects will need to have the same profile but will have different focus once they have joined the team: one of the architects will focus on Cloud Security, while the other 2 will focus on General Security.
• Specialized Architects, with knowledge in design, implementation of solutions.
• Candidates presented are not Architects with experience in pre-sales, but more hands on instead.
• Candidate will have great exposure to Security Directors, VPs, etc., and for this reason, position level should not be lowered.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity Work-from-Anywhere Roles – “Los Angeles California-based candidates are not eligible for this role” Location-based Roles “Los Angeles, California based candidates are not eligible for this role.
