The Curtiss Hotel, Buffalo’s only 5-star Hotel, is hiring a few motivated individuals to assist our guests in relaxing and enjoying their time away from home.  The Curtiss Hotel is an ultra-luxurious 68 boutique hotel.  Our rooms offer our guests a unique stay as we mix high tech with beautiful comfort.  The Curtiss Hotel also consists of our Urban Hot Springs, Chez Ami Restaurant (complete with revolving bar), Vue Rooftop Lounge (we have some of the best views of downtown) and the Harlow Spa where our guests can enjoy a HydraFacial or a Massage with one of our fabulous Massage Therapists.  If the Curtiss Hotel sounds like a place you’d like to work, apply today!

 

Position Available: Line Cook

Location:  The Curtiss Hotel is located at 210 Franklin St. Buffalo, NY 14202.  Reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities: Line Cooks at Chez Ami are responsible for providing our guests with a unique culinary experience.  Responsibilities include:

-         Prepping and Setting up station for service

-         Preparing food to guest unique specifications paying close attention to allergies or dietary restrictions

-         Maintain and clean and safe work environment

-         Communicating needs with chefs to ensure product never runs out

-         Follow all safety and healthy safety procedures

Qualifications:

-         High school diploma or equivalent

-         1 year working in a fine dining or upscale restaurant

-         1 year of culinary education

-         Well groomed, professional appearance

-         Must have flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and some holidays

 

 

Compensation:  $18-$22/hour depending on experience.  Paid sick time.
