Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification for a night shift assignment at a Level I Trauma center in Kalamazoo, MI.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting serving adult, pediatric, ED, and outpatient populations across a Level I Trauma center
• Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Required CT studies include abdomen and pelvis (w/ and w/o contrast), chest (w/ and w/o contrast), vascular chest (PE, CTA, aorta), head and neck (carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head), cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Preferred studies include enterography, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, myelography, CT-guided aspirations, biopsies, colonography, and drainage procedures
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) required; 3D rendering and ROI measurement preferred
• Uses GE CT equipment and PACS; Epic EMR experience required
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) required
• No on-call requirement
• Float requirement to Bronson Advanced Radiology Services location in Kalamazoo, MI

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT(R) required; ARRT(CT) preferred
• BLS (AHA) required
• Level I Trauma center experience required
• Experience with GE CT equipment and PACS required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and isolation precautions required
• Experience performing brain perfusion and vascular CTA required
• Must be able to work with pediatric through geriatric patient populations
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform a broad range of CT imaging studies including vascular, neurological, musculoskeletal, and body imaging
• Special procedures such as coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, and CT-guided interventions are preferred experience
• Starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, and lead/management experience preferred
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be available for the full orientation week
• Holiday time off requests are not guaranteed to be approved
