Financial Analyst

Financial Accounting Team MemberReporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the Corporate Controllers Group as part of the Financial Accounting Team with a focus on accruals and prepaids. You will contribute to balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and key close activities while applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and partnering across the organization to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesPrepare balance sheet account reconciliations with strong supporting documentationPerform monthly and quarterly close activities, including analysis, validations, journal entries, and reconciliations in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and audit requirementsEnsure all supporting documentation is complete, clear, and able to stand aloneSupport the preparation of internal and external financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory requirementsAssist with special projects including mergers and acquisitions, temporary service agreements, policy updates, business partner requests, process improvements, automation development, and system conversionsSupport internal and external audit requests and follow up on action itemsComplete requests from business and corporate partners in a timely and accurate mannerIdentify and promptly communicate issues that may materially impact the company's financial conditionManage multiple assignments with minimal supervision while meeting deadlinesAdapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, and business needsCommunicate clearly and frequently, adjusting the level of detail based on the audiencePresent information to small groups as neededActively participate as a collaborative and engaged team memberIngredients for Your SuccessBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related degree3+ years of professional accounting or finance experienceAdvanced experience using Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP preferredExperience with balance sheet account reconciliationsExperience with automation tools or low-code platformsStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesEffective communication and collaboration skills across teamsComfortable working in a fast-changing environmentPay Range: $64,000-$95,000Our BenefitsHealth: Comprehensive healthcare plans, wellness incentive program, mental wellbeing support and fitness reimbursementWealth: Great pay, bonus incentive opportunity, matching 401(k) and stock purchase planGrowth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups, on-demand learning and tuition reimbursementBalance: Paid-time off, parental leave, flexible work-schedules and volunteer opportunitiesOur CompanyAt Conagra Brands, we have a rich heritage of making great food.
