Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift

Job Summary


We are looking for a Quality Inspector I to inspect medical device components and ensure products meet quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and comfort working with small parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of small parts/components.
• Use microscopes, calipers, micrometers , and other inspection tools.
• Perform basic functional testing and identify defects.
• Document inspection results and quality issues.
• Follow work instructions, quality procedures, and cGMP requirements.
• Support quality checks in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment .
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, inspection, production, or quality control preferred.
• Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Comfortable working with small parts and performing repetitive inspection tasks.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Preferred: Experience with microscopes, calipers, micrometers, visual inspection, functional testing, medical devices, FDA/cGMP, or injection/plastic molding.


Note: Medical device or FDA experience is not required if the candidate has strong transferable manufacturing/inspection experience.
