Job Opportunity – Hospitalist Physician – Alaska

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), 7 consecutive shifts preferably 2 weeks per month; flexible to work days, nights, and weekends

Highlights:

• Hospitalist position with patient volume of 18–22 encounters per shift
• Closed ICU – no procedures required; intensivists on-site
• Epic EMR system in use
• Hospital census of 90–95 patients
• Potential for 7 on / 7 off scheduling for two-week monthly coverage blocks
• Ongoing coverage needs into 2026

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (FM)
• Active or willingness to obtain Alaska medical license (temporary/emergency privileges may be available for qualified candidates with clean file)
• Flexibility to work consecutive 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends
• Commitment to 7 consecutive shifts, ideally 2 weeks per month
