We are partnering with a respected and growing property management company to hire a Property Manager for an affordable housing community in the Madison area. What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the day-to-day operations of an affordable housing community

• Build positive relationships with residents and provide excellent customer service

• Oversee leasing, move-ins, renewals, and occupancy goals

• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Section 42, and affordable housing regulations

• Manage resident certifications and recertifications

• Coordinate maintenance requests and property upkeep with onsite teams

• Monitor rent collections, property financials, and budgeting activities

• Maintain accurate resident files and property records

• Support resident retention and foster a welcoming community environment

• Partner with leadership to drive property performance and resident satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Previous Property Manager experience required

• Affordable housing, LIHTC, or Section 42 experience strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of leasing, resident relations, and property operations

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team

• Experience with property management software is a plus

• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
