Senior-Level Graphic Designer/Art Director

Full Throttle Marekting is a boutique, in-house advertising agency in Austin, TX, supporting multiple start-up brands through brand-forward creative work. This Senior-level Graphic Designer/Art Director role is designed to move work from early concepts through final execution across a range of channels and formats, starting as a contract hire with potential to transition into a full-time position. The position is hybrid, with a split between remote work and on-site collaboration at the agency office. The team is Mac based, so strong Creative Suite skills are a core requirement. Role overview Senior-level design and art direction across TV, magazine, web, posters, direct mail, and more Support multiple start-up brands in Austin, TX from concept through completion Provide big creative ideas and strong art direction, with fresh and effective design solutions Responsibilities Design and art direct work for TV, magazine, web, posters, direct mail, and everything in between Translate concepts into polished deliverables from start to finish, with strong creative judgment Handle a small portion of production-style tasks such as resizing a banner ad and updating a photo in a magazine ad Requirements Demonstrated strength in both conceptual thinking and execution Web design experience is a huge plus Work will be split between remote and on-site at the office Ability to live in or near Austin, Texas Availability for in-person group meetings, collaborations, and brainstorming sessions Mac-based workflow with mastery of Creative Suite (including Photoshop and InDesign) Minimum 3-5 years ad agency work experience is strongly preferred Strong portfolio is required (PORTFOLIO IS A MUST) Submit portfolio/book, website, resumé/CV, references, and pertinent contact information Tools & technologies Mac Creative Suite Photoshop InDesign Compensation & job type Pay: $65,000 - $95,000 per year (depending on experience and portfolio) Job types include Full-time , Part-time , and Contract Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Location & hiring timeline Location: Austin, TX (hybrid) Work location note: in person Reviewing candidates in June and July , with hopes to fill by early August Local candidates in Texas are preferred, but qualified out-of-town candidates will also be strongly considered #J-18808-Ljbffr Full Throttle Marekting
