Medical Assistant  – Diagnostic Laboratory (Full-Time) must speak Spanish

A growing diagnostic laboratory is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Client Service Representative to join our team full-time.

Responsibilities

• Review Order Entry requests and laboratory requisitions for accuracy and completeness
• Verify corresponding patient specimens and enter required information into the laboratory information system according to standard operating procedures
• Prepare specimens for referral testing to outside laboratories
• Review laboratory reports and monitor pending tests
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient invoices by mail
• Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to clients, patients, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and support daily laboratory operations

Requirements

• Associate Degree highly preferred
• Preferred major: Clinical Laboratory Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with clinical laboratory terminology and operations
• Must be bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English
• Must have phlebotomy skills and a valid phlebotomy certification
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with attention to detail

We use latest, state-of-the-art, medical equipment and instrumentation in the preparation of specimens, and we guarantee strictest quality assurance mechanisms are implemented to maintain consistency and precision.
