Senior Epidemiologist, Immunology, RWE (FSP Sponsor Dedicated)

IQVIA seeks a Senior Epidemiologist to support real-world evidence generation for an immunology-focused sponsor in a dedicated, fully remote role. The position involves designing observational studies, leveraging secondary healthcare databases, and collaborating with clinical, safety, and regulatory teams to address evidence gaps across the product lifecycle. Requires a doctoral degree in epidemiology and 5–7 years of pharmaceutical experience with demonstrated expertise in regulatory evidence strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct observational research studies using secondary real-world data sources
- Assess evidence gaps and evaluate safety profiles across product lifecycle
- Develop evidence strategies to support regulatory interactions and clinical development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on epidemiologic approaches to business and scientific questions
- Support clinical development and drug safety activities for inflammation-focused sponsor
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Epidemiology (PhD, ScD, or equivalent)
- 5-7 years epidemiology experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting
- Demonstrated support for clinical development and/or drug safety activities
- Expert-level knowledge of observational research methods and commercial healthcare databases
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical development and safety evidence
- Proven ability to design, execute, and interpret epidemiologic studies for regulatory objectives
Compensation: $109,200-$273,000 base pay, annualized
