This role bridges technical estimating work with relationship management, ensuring competitive, accurate, and compelling proposals for electrical construction projects. RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesUse Level 1’s prepared documentation to develop complete and competitive electrical bids.Select electrical equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors strategically to optimize cost, quality, and lead time.Serve as the primary point of contact with electrical contractors, GCs, and suppliers during the bidding phase.Develop labor estimates for electrical crews, factoring in installation methods, productivity rates, and project conditions.Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and historical project data to improve bid positioning.Ensure all bids comply with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and safety standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.3+ years in electrical estimating, project management, or related role with a proven track record of competitive bid success.Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, and industry best practices for electrical installations.Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and contractor engagement.Proficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. We may pay more or less than the range based on the person’s qualifications. In good faith we believe the range is what we will pay for this role at the time of the posting and may change in the future. Salary Description$85,000-$115,000 Annually
