Respiratory Therapist - NICU, Nights

Overview Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Also performs blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintains and manages equipment, and provides patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas. Responsibilities Perform patient assessments; execute general and critical care respiratory care procedures; provide respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery; conduct blood gas analysis and interpretation; maintain and manage equipment; and educate patients and families in adult and neonatal settings. Qualifications Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required. Work Experience: Previous working experience in neonatal respiratory care, or successful completion of department‑specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level Required. Licenses and Certifications: RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist, BCLS – Basic Life Support, ACLS, NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation, PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support – all required upon hire.
