About the Position

Strong general and robotic skillset required. Experience in orthopedic and neurological procedures is required. This role includes 5 eight-hour shifts with variable start times. Call is required, including two weekends per contract and one call shift per week. Candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience. Daily responsibilities include room turnover and managing supplies. This is not an ambulatory surgery center; we operate as a hospital outpatient department. Candidate must be proficient in all service lines with exceptions noted. The role may require floating to the main operating room based on volume. Candidates should have strong robotic experience with the Da Vinci system. Additional required skills include abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic procedures, hernia repair, and other similar procedures. Daily census averages 10-20 cases per day with six operating rooms in service. Candidate must manage patient care effectively across various age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
